So, since I had been in Nova Scotia I had always wanted get up one morning and watch the sun rise.
But I never did.
I was about to move away, and I had one last chance to do it. So I got up at 4:30 in the morning and went out to the water front where there was a nice beach and a warf with the fishing boats going out.
It wasn't the best spot with the sun rising much more north then I had hoped and start rising near a point that I couldn't acsess.
The water line under the sun rise.
The 24-105 mm was my first try to try to capture the sun rise. It wasn't as good as I had hoped.
This meant I needed to break out my 10-20mm. Its a cheap sigma lens, but damn, that field of view.
Also that hyperfocal distance though
