Cape Breton day 3

So after the morning walk we kept did a quick hike along the shore.

There was a nice beach with small rocks at the start. People had been stacking them into piles and inukshuk type structures.

Having something interesting in the for ground of a wide angle landscape pic is always a good way to make the photo more interesting.

The rest of the walk along the shore provided lots of landscapes, plant, and wildlife photo opportunity.

There were also lots of drift wood and other interesting subjects along the shore.

We knew from last time we made this trip that there was a place we had to stop.

Along the Cabot trial there is a dutch breakfast place that has amazing Pannekoek (dutch crepe).

We saw a deer and a blue jay hanging around the back while eating too.

It is an interesting little place, they have chickens running around. Emily deiced that she needed to chase them around. This gave me opportunities to try to get some pics.

A little while south of there I spotted a bald eagle down in the river walking around.

While I started walking to get closer he took off and I tried to get a pic in flight, but didn't do as well as I liked. But getting a good picture of one flying away is hard.

To finish it off there were some ok landscape shots under a low cloud.

Thanks for reading.
There will be a 3rd entry from in day of some less popular places we found, in a few days.
